Technology employment as of the 4th quarter of 2013 fully rebounded beyond the prior peak and is estimated to have set a record for number of tech jobs in San Diego. While not suffering as many job losses during the recession, technology jobs still lead the rest of the economy in job growth. Employment overall, led by the private sector, neared, but still has not quite reached pre-recession peaks.
