Answer: NO

Sunday delivery may appeal to a niche group of shoppers who are already frequent users of the online retailer and perhaps will appreciate an extra day to speed delivery. Otherwise, it does not seem to make much difference for orders to be delivered on Sunday instead of the following day on Monday. Potentially a much greater impact may arise from Amazon introducing same-day delivery to the San Diego market. Already rolled out in 11 other major metro areas, this service could provide a more significant advantage in convenience, speed and customer satisfaction to compete with brick and mortar stores.
