The stock market should be part of one’s investment portfolio, especially considering a tidal wave of inflation facing the U.S. dollar. The resiliency of the stock market will survive fiscal cliff deliberations and should move to new highs in coming weeks. As always, one must exercise caution in investing and relying upon knowledgeable advisors. The U.S. continues to lead the world in technology innovation and productivity increases. Many corporations sit on piles of money with vast potential for deploying those resources, while the Federal Reserve continues to exercise extremely loose monetary policy in their ongoing effort to keep the U.S. economy moving.
