San Diego will see beginnings of recovery in 2010, but not much of a rebound that usually follows a recession. Normally, the bigger a recession, the bigger the recovery as businesses rebuild inventories and ramp up underutilized resources. But recovery from a financial crisis tends to be lackluster as people remain cautious and credit remains difficult to acquire.
