Erik Bruvold is president of the National University Institute of Policy Research.
He and his colleagues have been cutting through the hype, looking for the answer to the question. Can San Diego really afford a new stadium for its professional football team?
The answer, said Bruvold, is found in the middle of an elaborate graph he put together. A graph that reveals how many Chargers fans can afford to buy private seat licenses, PSL's.
