Difficult to evaluate since the policies vary so much. Protectionist, anti-free trade rhetoric is among the most concerning. Besides building a wall, it is ill advised to consider only one side of international trade. Capitalism and trade are our greatest engines for economic growth and wealth creation. Unilateral tariffs would impose immense barriers on prosperity. Opening markets to trade is one of the best anti-poverty programs ever instituted, much more effective than welfare or foreign aid.
