Not necessarily. Although living in San Diego is challenging for most because of the high cost of housing, taxes and other living expenses, there are abundant opportunities to accumulate wealth. Employers pay high wages for those with the right skillset in the right fields. San Diego also offers a wide variety of innovative opportunities to create business endeavors. However, it can be difficult for those with middle to low-wage job skills just to get by.
