Trump's tax plan: A boost to the economy?

Kelly Cunningham, National University System - YES: While much is still to be considered and decided by Congress, parts of the plan would boost the economy. Cutting the U.S. corporate tax rate to 20 percent alone would significantly bring billions of dollars of multinational revenues back into the U.S. Not only is the current rate almost 40 percent higher than the average charged by other developed countries, the U.S. is one of only six nations still taxing the income domestic companies earn outside their borders.
