Educators partner for college, career month
U-T SAN DIEGO, October 8, 2012 - Escondido's high school district and Chamber of Commerce are celebrating the first Escondido College & Career Connections Month. More than a dozen partners are working with the district and chamber to host several career- and education-related events throughout October. People of all ages, and education and skill levels are encouraged to attend the events, such as high school students considering college and career options, adults contemplating work changes, and business owners with hiring needs. October 24, 2012 - Economist Kelly Cunningham, Senior Fellow with the National University System Institute for Policy Research, will present "Economic Outlook 2013: The New Normal for Small Business" on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 as a featured event in Escondido's College & Career Connections Month.
