Cunningham’s presentation will provide a post-recession outlook for the San Diego region and the North County in particular. As the former chief economist and research director for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, he has an established reputation and expertise in understanding San Diego’s regional economy. Cunningham is currently with The National University System Institute for Policy Research, a think tank that promotes high quality economic, policy, and public-opinion research to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of local governments in the San Diego area. As a Senior Fellow at the Institute, Cunningham conducts in-depth research on regional economic issues which he will be sharing.
